Well, I can't say I hate him as a person. But I do think the golf world, and you might even say the sports world in general, is oversaturated with his image. You can't watch a golf tourney without the gratuitous mention of where Tiger is on the board, how he shot this hole that so-and-so is on now, etc., etc. It's as if he's as big as golf itself, and it get a little stale. But I think he's a alright guy, in interviews and stuff...

How can you say he is not a good ambassador for the sport? The popularity of golf has increased tenfold over the past decade that he has been a professional. And why is it surprising that he receives so much attention? He is dominating a sport that is so very difficult to master, in a way which has never been seen. Tiger is by far the most dominant sports figure in any sport, at any time. I don't think its fair to criticize him as a 'bad guy'. I find just the opposite to be the case.

I like him...and don't see him as cocky and definitely not over confident ... he is aptly very confident, yet I have seen quite a bit of humility in the young man also.
You don't become great by kissing up - ya' know. BTW - his ' talent' is borne of early and never ending HARD WORK and being TAUGHT that he could be the best [which so far he is]
And pray tell, why would you HATE Tiger? You do not even know this man, nor he, you. Why waste your time 'despising' a total stranger to you? Seems like very unsophisticated way to be ... expend that energy on something productive

While at the top of his game,he rearranged his style and emerged a more consistent champion. When you say "he is not an ambassador "to the game and that he is a sore loser, just leaves me dumbfounded.I wont go into detail and by the way,a true champion hates to lose, not other people, but himself, something you mere earthlings would not understand.

Tiger woods has been living under the microscope for a long time.He is a usual person with an unusual talent.I cannot link myself to him as a person,as you have. But ,if respect is all he can expect from a stranger, I guess that says mountains of his character.

It's not his fault that he is as good as he is. It's not his fault that the media portrays him the way they do. And have u ever even met him to know what kind of person he really is. Alot of celebs are shown to be one way on TV, but could actually be different in person. Hate is such a strong word. U need to find Jesus and learn how to love...and focus on ur goals in life, instead of focusing on hating someone who does not even know u exist.

I kind of feel, what's not to like about Tiger Woods? He is awesome. It's not his fault if the media goes ga ga over him. I hadn't heard about the sore loser thing, but why are you listening to the media?

I find your dislike of the media handling of Tiger to be true for most professional athletes these days. I don't follow sports, I participate.

Wow you really don't care for the guy. My suggestion is that you take the energy and loathing that you have for him turn it into something positive and put it to good use on say finding a cure for Cancer, world peace, fixing the ozone layer... and the list goes on.
