Sorry, I guess I found what information I was looking for... which is Typically, GH (growth Hormone) secretion has a daily cycle, with the highest level occuring during sleep, but the total amount secreted daily, peaks during adolescence and then declines with age. Therefore, don't expect to keep gaining height with age!

One reason is that our lumbar discs tend to degenerate over time, lessening the gap between vertebrae, and causing our height to diminish slightly.

there are normal growth charts by age. A person usually stops growing by age 18. It varies with ethnicity and sex and genetics.
