You can get/rent the heart monitor from your doctor tell them you are stressing (they don't want that) or buy a cheap listening device from walmart. this might help ease your worries.

First of all, you're not alone!! I feel exactly the same way. I almost miscarried my baby when I was 16 weeks pregnant, and I have had a high risk pregnancy ever since. I've finally reached 35 weeks, and I know I should be ecstatic at the thought of meeting my little girl, but I'm terrified something will go wrong still. In a way, I'd rather have her as a premmie and know she is safe in intensive care than keep worrying something will happen...

If your midwife will do regular visits, that should help keep your mind at rest - I have had ultrasounds every 2 weeks because of the risk factor, and that has helped me.

My partner has been a great help too, I'm not sure how I would have got through all this without him. Try to believe your hubby, at least try, so that his mind is at rest too, remember, he's probably worrying inside too!

I hope everything goes fine for you, I'm sure it will!! - good luck!!

:-)

I am 11 weeks, had one miscarriage at 2-3 weeks before. I too get anxious, especially because I was in a really bad car wreck at 7 weeks and spotted for 2weeks after that. I am constantly checking when I go to the bathroom! I am considering a therapist because I know that stress is bad for the baby. Perhaps that would help you also. Also, I think I am going to rent a doppler to hear heartbeat when I get too anxious. Bellybeats.com, it's fairly cheap. Very best wishes!

Hi im sure you can buy a heart monitor out of argos and strap it to your belly to hear your babys heart beat. This would maybe good to use when your felling very anxious. Im sure its perfectly normal to feel like that, i had a miscarriage at 6weeks and i get anxious just thinking of getting pregnant again incase it all happens again.
