You can take 12 to 18 hours to be considered full time. Take the lowest amount, 12 hrs, in order to still be full time. It's only 4 classes. You will still have a lot of free time (to study or whatever).

im also going to college this summer to St. Bonaventure in Olean New York and i am taking Physical Ed. which has an extreme load of work and classes i cant even take extra cause i have no room but i think college is something that will help you out allot in the future and the more stuff you get done ther the better job uyou can get later in life. Thats my approach i guess it just depends on what you want out of college but i recomend take the full time courses.

ok , coming out of high school, you had 6 classes / or 5 , depending on your shcool , and you were in school everyday for atleast 6 hours.
Taking 12 credit hours should be absolutley NO PROBLEM for you.
It is MUCH less time spend in school than your used to, youwill have time for partying and playing, and for homework.
Go full time. 12 credits is 4 classes on a semester system
To ease yourself into the process, take 1-2 easy classes, and 1normal, 1 hard.

Do you have financial aid or scholarships? Those will be affected adversely if you take less than full time. If you're paying for it all yourself, then ultimately it does not matter. 12 credits is really not that bad, but if you want to ease into it, there is nothing wrong with it. It just means that it will take you longer to finish!

To be honest I felt going to college was easier than my High school days. Im an engineer. If your going to max out, max out on all the electives they'll let you take for the degree your going after, then you'll have more time to concentrate on the required courses for the remaining time in college.
Good Luck..

well i would say go full time
and take only 12 credits
cause that way you can get more financail aid and loans and such
they require mostly full time students
and you lose the scholarships if you go to part time
