My ghost is threatening to cut the gas and electricity supplies to my house. We had a big row because he kept moving the furniture around at night, which not only woke us up but takes ages to put back in place. The local vicar isn't qualified in exorcism, and to be fair, we generally get on OK so I'm not at that point yet.

You should really make a deal with this ghost... ok! Tell it to arrange the furniture to a pleasing position and make it nice, also to do it when it's not time for you to be sleeping... if you promise to let it be your interior decorator, then ixnay on cutting off the utilities! Ok.... If you are truly capable of getting along, then why worry about the exorcism? Oh Yeah, if you don't want the ghost there, just tell it to leave the residence and go to it's resting place! That is what the famous lady on tv says anyway! I don't really know if it works! Good luck to you!

It is possible that it can effect your electrical equipment but be careful coz it may not be who he say he is. Spirits that have greater power are mostly bad ones.
It sounds like he is trapped and you may not need a exorcism
unless he is really bad because most medium can move them on without any problems.

Well, new legislation has been passed that permits you to sue the ghost for emotional distress or at least present him or her with a cease-and-desist injunction. If the problem continues, you can have them evicted by the sheriff's department.
