will xbox 360 runs quicker, has a greater effectual pics card. with xbox u could make ur very own avatar, earn awards to personalize ur avatar, the controller feels greater organic around ur hand, the button format is greater effectual. The xbox has a FPS sequence noted as Halo that's rather some relaxing to play and the hot Halo 4 replaced into chosen because of the fact the final xbox pastime of 2012. The PS3 has an excellent variety of overall performance subject concerns and the controller sucks in basic terms please do not purchase it. nevertheless do not purchase a console yet because of the fact the Xbox 720 is coming i think of this Christmas and the ps4 additionally, and the ps4 seems to have given the 720 alot to stay as much as and Microsoft continues to be not asserting something greater concerning the 720 yet do not purchase a console yet, in basic terms wait.

The console is not 400 dollars. If you get the core bundle it's only 300. If you get the core bundle that would include a wired controller which makes the charger un-necessary. So far that slices 120 dollars off.

Not everyone wants Xbox live & not everyone is going to be on xbox live for 5 years so that's a variable price, and not everyone cares about the HD player so that's another 200 dollars off the price.

For the person who wants the 360 just for regular gaming purposes (no online gameplay, no HD movies)..... the Xbox 360 is the less expensive choice.

But for the serious console fanatics who are in it for EVERYTHING..... when you're spending over 500 or 600 dollars..... does 70 dollars really matter?

I used to be a sony fan until this whole PS3 fiasco. I'm giving microsoft a try & going with the Xbox for now. At least until the PS3 prices drop some. 600 bucks for a console is crazy. (I wouldn't plan on using it for movies or anything special. JUST gaming.) Especially when their game selection at this point is just plain sad.

p.s. I agree with Dr. Snake above me. I'll stick with my Wii too. Zelda is a blast to play & I love shooting/slicing guys up in Red steel.

Xbox live. It's the bread and butter of the Xbox. It's what's making the 360 still successful until today. The PS3's network still has to pass a lot of tests to even compare to the standards
established by the Xbox 360.

Wii:

Console: $250
Wii Network: Free
Cables to charge controllers: DON'T NEED 'EM!

...and you get a system that plays all your old favorite Nintendo games, back from NES, SNES, N64, GameCube Discs, etc etc.

...and who cares about the PS3 motion sensor? Wii gives you two independent controllers, each with a state-of the art accelerometer that detects movement less than the width of a human hair.

...and without Zelda: Twilight Princess, life is not worth living.

that's all fine but there are no games for the PS3. I'm not going to drop 600 bucks so the thing can sit around and collect dust.

I agree with your analysis. However, if Sony never puts out any worthwhile games, it's a moot point.
