I was born in the 80's so I need a little help on this. We are having an 80's themes party for a friends Birthday. Best dressed wins a prize. well I was born in the 80's so I have no idea how people dressed. Any help on how to dress would be great.

This was the age of the New Romantics and Punk. Look back at the album covers for such 80's icons as Duran Duran and the Ramones to get ideas on male costumes. Also look back at the hair metal bands such as Poison and Guns n' Roses for more ideas.
For ladies, just add leg warmers, headband, and mini-skirt and you are good to go..more or less. Don't forget tons of mousse or gel in the hair as well.
