I really love antiques . Antiques are usually very well made, dove tails, ect. ect. Lots of beautiful, artistically made pieces. I love browsing through the antique malls, going into little towns with lots of charater and seeing the well made pieces of past while touring an old home. makes me wonder a lot of times, who was the original owner, what kind of person was he or she. It is just very interesting! I like new things also, but they could take a lesson in the production area .... New things, will they really ever become antiques, or will they fall apart before ever making that far?

I love antique furniture too, Leroy. And don't we just live in an area that's full of it? I know all of the little towns on the Georgia/Florida are just full of little shops that almost give away antique furniture. We should get together sometime and go riding with the pick up truck!

I go for used on most things. Mattress, underwear etc, new and if I was in the position I'd have some antiques also and dump the used stuff.

It depends on what it is. I have several antiques which have been passed through my family. However, there are certain things that I want to have new (like my mattress).

Antiques. I live in an old farm house that we rennovated and I have it decorated with all kinds of antique farmhouse primatives.
