It's great if you want your daughter to grow up and be a stripper, along with names like Jasmine, Sadie, and Sky. The only thing I hate worse is Neveah (heaven backwards). Okay, so I'm a lover of traditional names. I just always try think of how I would like a child to be as a adult, and I always come back to names that are classy and beautiful.

Heaven was the main heroine for a V.C. Andrews series. So, I think of that saundry story (if you know how V.C. Andrews stories go, then you know the type of thing I'm thinking of) when I hear that name.

Also, I remember hearing a joke a while back about how it's always the kids with names like Faith, Justice, Peace, and Heaven who end up having childhood cancer or other such ailments. I'm sure it's not truth...but that's what I think of.

I don't like it.

In theory, it's cute. But when she's grown, who wants to be called "Heaven"?

Plus, and I hate to say it, everyone I know named "Heaven" or "Angel" have REALLY not lived up to the name. They are, in fact, strippers. I realize this is not the case with all Heavens and Angels, but the only ones I know, or know of, are all strippers.

I'd stay away from names like that. Even though we know what Heaven stands for, names like this also seem to end up as stage names for strippers.

I do not care for it. If she wants to be a bank president someday, how does Ms. Heaven Johnson sound?
Here is a list of other names that mean heaven, if that is important to you.

If she is the teeniest bit chubby, some smart *** will soon shorten it to Heavy. For an overweight teenager that could be devastating. It will get shortened whether you like it or not, and this is the obvious way. For this reason alone I would not advise it.

I dont think that would be a good name, especially if your child doesn't believe in heaven

Honestly, I think it is played out. People name their kids these 'majestic' names thinking they are unique. I live in the hood and there are plenty of little girls named Heaven, Majesty, Zion, etc.

Go back to the old school and find her a classy name PLEASE!
