Blindness is a condition of lacking visual perception due to physiological or psychological factors. So, they cannot see in color, or colors.

Although red/green color blindness is the most "normal" type of color blindness, some people can't see other random colors. For example, a friend of my children can not see pennies if they are in the lawn. This was news to me. copper/green... they are the same to him.

This was found out during a birthday party "find the pennies in the grass" game. All of the other kids were finding pennies by the handful, but he couldn't find any.

Additional information:
Ten million men in the U.S. cannot distinguish red from green. Yet the disorder only affects less than 600,000 American women. Why? The genes for red and green receptors sit near each other on the X-chromosome. Men only have one X-chromosome, which they inherit from their mother. Meanwhile, women have two, and a normal gene can often balance out a defective one.

Most color blind people have difficulty telling the difference between green and red. The rest of the colors they see just fine.

It varies. Different people can be color blind to different colors. Mainly its red/green, but one of my friends cannot tell the colors blue/green apart and another cannot tell pink/purple.
