Warming?

Do people understand the difference? Without question, the Earth has been heating up. What is questionable is the cause.

So when you hear some politician say that 90% of scientist agree that Global Warming is occuring, know that they can only say that becuase they know you will confuse the two and can deny it later.

I've argued this very point with republicans... I think many people.. regardless of party.. jump into arguments not knowing what they are arguing about too often.

As a scientist who has studied this matter with great interest over the last 3 decades one can only conclude that most of the people are delusional and fail to grasp reality .
The crust under our oceans is thin and as the ocean temperature increases steadily under the pressure of this volume of water pressing against the hot molten inner core it is only natural that the temperature will rise . We float along on a hot molten cooler surface .
Like an apple pie crust with a hot core if you depress a section with your finger you will get burnt .
If you light;y touch the surface no effect is felt .
But if someone else pushes down on other areas an eruption of hot pie filling my burn you .

So it is the increasing amount of water in the oceans that is fueling the current warming trend .
We need to begin pumping water onto the land which is lighter and more porous But only after we have removed the salt from it making it good to drink and water crops with .
We can continue to burn off all the fossil fuels we want . They block the suns rays from warming the earth and have helped to slow the heating up cycle .

The consensus that we are the cause is also overwhelming.

www.newscientist.com

is a science news site.

If you suddenly become interested in understanding what real scientists are saying (I know, you are not now, nor will you ever be interested in fact, truth, reality, or reason), you could go there and look for the Instant Expert or Special Report on global warming.

it cannot be polution - or man made; other wise we would have had it occure when there were 10 billion horses and a hundred billion other beasts of burden farting and pooping all over everything while we were making high smoke producing fires for heat and industry, and using very unclean water treament processes!
Those false prophets of global warming have no idea what they are saying, and - as albert gorlioni put it-- " they are playing upon your fears!" George W Bush was telling us the truth about terrorism, Iran, Iraq, and N.Korea. Al Gore is a liar and a false prophet.

90% of scientists are have said to believe in global warming, however that is in the real warming of the globe. Only 17% of scientists are said to believe in Al Gores global warming myth.

Yes. But they do not care because it is not about global warming, it is about gaining more control of your lives and in particular your money.

It is a communist scam and if you know anyone who believes show them the Great Swindle episode from the BBC, it has set everyone I know that is on the fence, straight. But of course the people I showed it to are intelligent.

Why does everyone call them liberals when they are really communists hiding behind a label that some presume is honorable.

I think a lot of people don't read or listen carefully. For instance, 90% of scientists agree that global warming is caused by man.

Yes. Thanks for dumbing the question down for your friends.

But what's wrong with reducing our carbon emissions? Nothing. If we can, isn't that the right, the moral, the correct thing to do? I'm sorry about lost Exxon profits, but you can only rape the Earth so long.

why in the world would anyone talk about "natrual" global warming.

If it was occuring natrually we wouldnt be trying to prevent it really because there wouldnt be much we could do.

The man made global warming is what we can prevent because we are the ones causing it.
