I think anybody that calls liberals welfare rats are the ones that are mad. Mad as in insane . Remember it was Clinton who reformed welfare and made the "welfare rats" get a job. Stop generalizing and living in the past. It's no wonder you guys lost the election, so badly. This kind of demonizing of your opponents is going to cause you to lose the next election even worse. I predict after 2008 the Democrats will have a real majority in both the House and Senate and the White House, too.

Hahaha!! The only thing it hurts is the conservative cause!! Seeing as I have never been a welfare, makes me wonder what other "truths" the conservatives spew!! What I find interesting is that the biggest welfare states are the RED states not the BLUE states!! I also find it so interesting that with a republican president and congress for 6 years welfare still exists, not only does it exist but more people are now on some form of assistant now then at any other time in our history!!
Ironic, how it was a democrat president that tried to reform welfare, and get the lifers off.
I have always heard actions speak louder then words!!! By the republicans in controls actions and by the red states being the biggest welfare sponges makes me believe it's the republican politicians who want to keep welfare strong and alive!! One in 6 people on some form of assistance with republicans in control!!!

Seeing most liberals, myself included, do not rely on welfare and actually contribute to welfare funds, I think that we'd be more offended by the fact that you are an ignorant douche-licker. Sorry for trying to take care of the entire country.

It makes my blood boil when you people call us Liberals welfare rats.
The reason Liberals are on welfare so much is that we have high standards. I'm not gonna work some minimum wage job. I has me my pride! You Cons love work, getting all spiffy in your designer suits. You go work, I'll watch me my soaps and The People's Court. Oprah can be fun too.
Welfare is our money, we earned it. Well, maybe not exactly. Social Security and unemployment insurance reflects what we earn, but you Cons owe us Liberals a lot. If you fat cats didn't have us Liberals, your water would be polluted. That alone should get me a few years free living, right?
All my life we have been oppressed and repressed, which makes me depressed.
