I must admit, I'm not McClaren's biggest fan, but I think that The Sun trying to oust him already is an absolute joke. I was furious when they tricked Sven and ruined my world cup. Sven couldn't give a sh*t about England after he knew he was off. It only comes along every 4 years and the last one was a right off because The Sun needed to sell newspapers. It doesn't take a genius to fool Sven, so well done The Sun!!!

Anyway, does the media's opinion count too much?

The Sun merely empathise and display the public feeling. We are constantly told we have world class players but on the world stage, we are indisciplined, sometimes brutish and seldom play beautiful football,
But one crucial thing
We've lost IT.
The va va voom as Thierry would say.
Yep, Bobby Moore will be our last World Cup winning skipper for a long time!

Hmm. I think the real problem is that Steve McClaren has too much say over the England side!

take what the media have done to players managers and even celebrities for decades. they will build up a person in the media so they are classed as god but then that allows them to create your downfall. look at what they did to beckham and now with rooney. it won't be long before rooney is considered a waste of space even if its not true. thay are nothing but journo scum....in my opinion... my girlfriend is a journo
