I don't understand why most gays like to dress up in pink and put on makeup and do gay things. I just don't get it.

THANK YOU! I thought I was the only person that felt this way.

Why does it have to be flaunted so much? I wouldn't give a damn what two guys or two girls did if they didn't make such a huge issue about it.

Have you ever watched gay/lesbian comedians? That's all they talk about. Their whole act is about how funny it is that they're gay. We got it. You're gay. Isn't there SOME OTHER aspect about your life worth discussing?

Most gay do NOT like to dress in pink and put on makeup. However, the Christian-driven media in the USA only presents and puts forth these types of images of gay people because it's fodder to scare their minions into submission. Also, it's an effective way to make themselves seem normal.

I would say that the majority of gay people in this country are NOT like the stereotypes. Otherwise, there'd be a whole lot more flaming queens out there.

" Why are gays so gay? I don't understand why most gays like to dress up in pink and put on makeup and do gay things. I just don't get it."

You will never 'get' what you 'don't understand' in every part of life.

But intelligent people investigate those things that they do not understand to build an unbiased opinion based on FACT.

You have proven by your question (not based on FACT or genuine interest) that intelligence escapes you - so you will always not 'get it'.

You're still in the slime pit, dude. You have nothing to look forward to in life except building a fragile outlook on life based on untruths and prejudice. I am so sorry. You may as well get off the world now ...

Making a sweeping generalization really isn't fair, because there are plenty of gays who don't act like this at all - they just aren't as easily identifiable as those who do.
At the same time, there is likely a reason why so many gay people do adopt similar tastes with regard to clothing, entertainment, etcetera - I liked gay things as a child before I even knew, LOL.
The best thing to do is either to embrace it or just recognize that people have a right to act the way they want to, and that we should stick together regardless of whether we are gay acting or like to think we are straight acting.

LOL!
Where on earth have you been hanging out that you see Gay guys like that?
Those guys are overtly Gay or what is referred to as Flaming Gay and want to put it on display in public, and it is pretty rare to see that. (unless you frequent those kind of places), it is the equivalent of a girl dressing slutty.
Most Gay guys are just guys and look, dress and act no different than any other guy.

Some do, some don't. I know some straight guys who act more effeminate than the gays I know! All of them were raised in a home with a lot of sisters, so I think they just absorbed all the girlishness from them, but that's just my theory.

I don't understand why most straight people care that much about what gay people do and wear

i dont get it either. I have a brother who's gay and he doesnt act like a girly girl EVER. there are passive and active gays so my guess is that my brother is very active (act like a guy no matter what). there are gay guys who dress more girly than me and have this stupid silly voice that annoys me! dont have anything against gay people at all, but i just cant understand "that" group of gays.

Wrong stereotyping. SOME do, but that doesn't mean we all do. I'm a gay man, but I wear jeans and regular shirts, I don't put makeup and my voice isn't girlie. BTW: Most gay men aren't "so gay".

Good question, I dont know why most people care so much what others look like? We live in a country where we are allowed to express our opinions and likes/dislikes. If you dont like what other men/women wear as a fashion sense. Then stop staring at them.
