while I'm still at "that age" will I regret it later? I'm already regretting it now. I feel like I'm missing out.

If your regretting it now, why not start going out more. You're only young once. Enjoy that freedom now especially if your single or don't have kids. I'm lucky if my husband and I get out twice a year. Everyone says they'll babysit until you need them. lol

Depends on where your life takes you. I did not party in my 20s and I didn't really miss it. However, now that I'm in my mid-30s I can somehow out-party kids half my age. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I go to a club and the music and the energy from a good time with my friends gets me high. I am also spouse and child-free. I think it all depends on where you party. I hated clubs in the states, but I love some of the clubs in Asia. I can set my drink down without wondering if some a@@ slipped something in it while I was on the dance floor.

I think you answered your own question. However, if your not the partying type there are lots of other ways to meet and make new friends. But my motto is make as many friends as you can in this life, so get out there have at it, lol.
