Why were flags flying at half mast in the Chicago area on 3-25-07?

No idea, but, check with your local Library, or chamber of commerce, or even the mayor's office.. or whatever sort of gov't officials you have there.
Possibly because of the death of that publisher for Hot Rod and Motor Trends Magazines, ie, Robert E. Petersen?
