You know they are thirsty atleast! They always say 'No..I'm fine.' LOL Is it cause they think you will poisen them or something?

Regarding plumbers, they have been working on your pipes...they (of all the people in the world) know better how clean that water is...lol, or maybe they think that someone who lets pipes clog that much must have five year old cokes on the fridge...
As for painters, by the time you offer them refreshments they are high from all that paint inhaling...so they don't care if they are thirsty or not, they are already having a blast.
