There were two sides to my fashion personality when I was a teenager. One side was 'anything that looked like Pat Benetar'. Skinny black leggings, ripped t-shirts, big red patent leather belts, headbands, short spikey hair, earrings the size of saucers, hot, sexy pumps to match the belt, (I drew the line at leg warmers)

My other persona was the 'buttoned up young Republican look'. Think Michael J. Fox as a girl. That was my work look. It really didn't say much about who I was, but it was expected where I worked.

Very very short skirts, peasant style blouses, big bells on the jeans and low tops on the jeans, hip huggers we called them back then, with a close-fitting sweater or shirt, tucked in. Barefoot whenever possible, otherwise sandals, boots in winter, big platforms on the shoes or boots...looooooong straight hair (I used to iron mine, and I could sit on it easily). White lipstick and nail polish (I wore black, but I was a little odd, anyway). Oh, and Heaven Scent perfume was a big one...you can still smell it if you're brave enough, it's always at Walgreens at Christmas for "gifts"!!

Yes, I was an a late 70's early 80's kid too so the things that have been mentioned. Plus men's skinny ties and "suit" jackets over slouchy pants or tight skirts. Black and white with hot pink, baby pink or teal. Tons or hairspray and big earrings. lmao. Burn the pics. Oh, and high heels or high heeled boots. Bright eye popping colors. UGH. Every material known to man.
To be honest I did have fun though.
