Aw, hang in there....in a few months, you will be looking back and laughing that you were upset that you weren't "big" yet. Also, I didn't find out the sex of my baby until I was 20 weeks because my doctor said 16 weeks is too early to tell. If you're having a boy, his little penis will not show until at least 18 weeks, so be patient. When I was 16 weeks, I was showing, but that's only because I'm carrying a large baby boy!! Before you know it, you wont' be able to see your feet and you'll have a hard time getting around....so just wait it out! Enjoy it while you can! I'm sure everything is fine. Congrats!

Relax, I just started feeling those first little flutters around this time and didn't feel any actual kicks until around week 20. Every woman is different and it is not uncommon to not feel your baby until around 22 weeks, so you are perfectly normal. Also, you will show soon enough trust me. I always had the cute pregnant belly until around 34 weeks and then I grew as big as house and I am now 38 weeks and soooo uncumffy.
As for finding out the sex of the baby. I found out at 18 weeks and I do know that many doctors don't even schedule you for the U/S until between 18-22 weeks because odds are better for being able to tell. So just be patient your results will be worth it.
Hang in there you have a while to go yet, but some many good things to look forward to.

if you are 16 weeks and this is your first baby, the likelyhood of you already feeling your baby move is slim. I didn't feel movement until about 21 weeks because I didn't know what I was looking for. It feels like gas. You probably won't be able to find out the sex yet at least not until 20 weeks or so. Sometimes if you've had an amnio you will be able to find out then but that involves a needle stuck through your stomach to get some amniotic fluid. And personally not the route I'd go. Just wait it out. You'll be fine. And it will fly by.

High-quality time for a 3D/4D is between 24 and 28 weeks, for the reason that the youngster still has adequate room on your uterus that s/he will not be too crowded, so you'll be competent to look him/her evidently. Attempt to maintain good posture, that'll support your back from getting sore. I obtained an awfully apparent bump around 18-19 weeks, nevertheless it varies widely. You'll be able to get there, though! In a primary being pregnant, most females consider child move between 16 and 22 weeks. I felt some excellent kicks at 17 weeks, but once more - it varies. Good good fortune at your ultrasound. Every considering I found out we're having a boy, time has been flying!

I wore my own clothes in my first pregnancy up until I was almost 8 months pregnant! Your body grows the way YOUR body grows, don't be depressed, your able to bend and touch your toes a little better than they are! The day you find out the sex of your baby will be AMAZING for you, your friends may have a lot of things that are different than your pregnancy, appreciate yours and don't dwell on what is going on in theirs, your baby is so much more special to you then if their baby had the hiccups today or not! Rub your belly and talk to it, be it a boy or a girl, that is your baby and the feelings you do feel you don't want to miss because your dwelling on how different your pregnancy is than your friends.
Good luck to you! I hope your baby is happy and healthy and just perfect when they are born! Enjoy being pregnant, so few moms really do!

Sweetie let me tell you that you are very lucky to at least have a pregnant belly. I am 33 weeks -pregnant and no one can tell that I am pregnant. I just look sooo fat! I do know the sex of my baby but because I just found out last week that I am having a little boy. So don't worry this is how I see it, the girls with the big belly are going to have a harder time trying to get rid or all the extra skin that has been streched out while it will be easier for me to get rid of it since my skin didn't stretch out as much.

Not to worry - everybody's bellies grow at different rates. Your overall shape may have been better than your friends, or baby may be smaller - it'll grow eventually and then you'll wish you were smaller! You're still a little early to be feeling baby yet - average time is around 18-20 weeks and you'll get an indication of the sex at your ultrasound but remember this isn't 100%.

Is this your first pregnancy? I didn't show very much until I was closer to 6 months. And I didn't feel the baby until I was amost 6 months. Also I didn't find out the gender until 21 weeks. Hang in there! Don't make it a competition! Just relax and enjoy YOUR pregnancy. And then when you have your little teeny one, you will enjoy him or her. Congratulations and again, don't worry about the little details, when your time to know the gender, feel the kicks and grow your belly comes, you will be in the spotlight. It's a very special time indeed!

I was worried about the same...
I found out the sex of the baby only at 20 weeks. and my belly didn't pop until maybe 22 weeks or so.
If your doctor is not noticing any problems with your pregnancy, relax and enjoy, pretty soon you will be concerned about the opposite :)

If I remember correctly, it is around 20 weeks before you can find out the sex.
As for not "looking" pregnant, I started a new job when I was 7 months along and no one knew I was pregnant until 2 weeks before I gave birth. I went to bed one night looking a little overweight, and when I awoke the next morning, she had dropped (into the birthing position) and I looked like I was about to pop!!
I was not overweight when I got pregnant (I was a size 8) and when she was born, she was a healthy, 7lb 8oz. So don't worry, before you know it, you will look like you're ready to pop.
