I would say Owen is being missed big time.
Hargreaves is bringing a high level of consistency for England that other big stars are not.
Lennon, for me, has always looked dangerous when playing and is not afraid to take players on. (please take note Downing)

Gerrard and Lampard are both very good players but cannot play together but I would have to say Gerrard just pips Lampard at the post.
And now I am going to get mad...
Why does everyone still blame Paul Robinson for the own goal againsdt Croatia. OK he should have pushed down the pitch and maybe he should have tried to take a touch but GARY NEVILLE IS THE ONE TO BLAME. Robinson had had a great game up until this incident and the only reason we weren't already 2-0 down (or 10-0 down) was because of Robbo's excellent keeping. Anyway back to the idiot GARY NEVILLE. You never ever ever ever (ever several hundred more times) do a pass back that can go into the net. If he had done that then it would have gone out from a corner which they may have scored from but the way Robinson was performing he probably would have saved it. BELT UP EVERYONE AND THINK ABOUT IT.
IF THE NEVILLES CAN PLAY FOR ENGLAND SO CAN I
IF THE NEVILLES CAN PLAY FOR ENGLAND SO CAN I
IF THE NEVILLES CAN PLAY FOR ENGLAND
THE NEVILLES CAN PLAY FOR ENGLAND
IF THE NEVILLES CAN PLAY FOR ENGLAND SO CAN I
SO CAN I

Owen Hargreaves. I've been championing him for a while now, well before his impressive showing at the World Cup. Everyone told me he was useless...now he's the national teams most consistent (in a good consistent way) midfielder

this answer may sound strange as he doesnt get picked much, but i can only ever really remember shaun wright phillips having 1 average game for england, the majority of the time he seems very much at ease with international football & he produces the unexpected....he should at least be in the squad....cheers mclaren, where is he now

micheal owen. Unlucky to be injured for last 15 months. can't wait til he comes back to England squad. More clinical than Rooney.

Not my favourite person, but Gary Neville without a doubt, always gives 100% every game he plays, unlike the rest.
