Oh yes, you're soooo right... Brett Favre ISN'T about to break Dan Marino's "oh-so-sacred" records and Brett Favre's entire career was a fluke.

Brett Favre won three MVP's.

Actually, Brett Favre is human. Brett Favre is one of the most down to Earth guys in the NFL who has struggled through many personal hardships and overcome each one, including but not limited too, addiction to pain killers, the death of his father, the death of his brother, his wife's cancer and it's recurrence, the flooding of his home during Katrina, and the home of his widowed mother, and, of course, dealing with criticism from envious fans world wide who are still seething that they can't make a single legitimate argument that their QB, be it Dan Marino, John Elway or Joe Montana, are better than Brett Favre.

Robster you are just plain stupid. Favre over rated? thats like saying Gretzkey was over rated or Barry Sanders. Brett Favre is not over rated he is the best QB that has ever played the game ( yes even better then Manning in my opinion. take away is HOF recivers and his O-line and see how he does.) Brett Favre has played with Mediocer Recivers with the exception of Stearling Sharp his entire life. He has played over 250 consecutive games and was only taken out as many times as i can count on my hands. maybe reggie white ( not dissin on white cause he was a beast) had Favre to thank for the super bowl. yeah HIS strong arm got all of those completions. it was also his Accuracy that got his completions. ( not so much now but in his prime.) He turned a team who was a laughing stalk of the nfl in the 80s and turned it into the power house of the 90s. he plays with more heart and passion then any 3 QBs in the league. he is the heart of the NFL and when he goes it will kill a little bit of the NFL. how many players do you know that would take LESS money after a contract was signed in order to get great players? now a days its all about money and fame. For him its about passion heart and winning. I'd like you to name one person better then favre( not just talent but class and leadership heart and passion for the game.) just one in the history in the NFL. i bet you will not think of one. don't hate on Favre because you like another team. because he is the best thing that has ever happend to the packers to Green bay and to hte NFL.

PS.
How many QBs do you know that played most of a season with a broken thumb on his THROWING hand? and still threw for over 4.000 yards. over rated my ***.

now to answer the question.

no i do not believe he is an alien but he is one of a kind. he plays with heart and passion and the love of the game. it isn't about the money, or the fame its about what he loves to do. he is the toughest player to ever play in the NFL and he is an ICON for the packers and for the NFL. he will be a HOF 5 years after his retirement. ( which isn't for another few years i hope.)

GO PACK.

Brett Favre is not an alien, and he sure is human. In fact he is probably one of the more overrated quaterbacks in the NFL today. He has Reggie white to thank for his superbowl, and a strong arm to thank for some of his completions. However he is too prone to interceptions to be "inhuman" by any means. Also his thumb is injured to the point where he has trouble holding the football. If he didnt suck John Maddens dick before every game, his praises would be much less.

Well he's good, but he's definately human. He's second all-time for most interceptions with 273 ! He may be second all-time for touchdowns, but even with all his vetaran years, he still makes some bad desicions.
