Kobe was a recruit for Duke I believe, Mcgrady was looking at Wake Forest and UNC, he prolly would have gone to UNC, Garnett would not have gone to Depaul because despite attending Farrugut Academy, he was was actually from sotuhern Illinois, so he would have most likely attended Illinois, Lebron was recruited by ohio state, but not seriously considering it, in fact before his senior year started, everyone stopped recruiting him. Dwight Howard was a serious recruit for Georgia Tech, but obviously he chose the NBA. Of course, most of these guys had chose the NBA before these schools started going after them.

If I remember correctly Garnett never met the accidemic requirements to go to college. His SAT's didn't get him in and he never retook them. I remember Kobe was supposed to go to Duke, but I think he just wanted the attention. James has said that he would have gone to Ohio State. I thought that Howard was leaning towards Wake Forest. As for McGrady I don't remember.

Tracy McGrady-actually, it was Kentucky that he originally signed a letter of intent with, but decided to skip
LeBron-Ohio St.
KG-he wanted DePaul or UNC
Kobe-Duke, he said it last summer
Dwight Howard-Georgia Tech was his actual decision before opting out

Bryant would have definitely gone to North Carolina. I think he had even signed a letter or intent.
James was rumored to be on his way to Ohio State

It has been said that Kobe was going to Duke and Lebron was going to Syracuse with Melo. Garnett was recruited heavily by G-Town. Other than that I dont know.
