Probably - then they'd declare war on it and spend us into oblivion over it. Thanks for the laugh.

There are a number of groups that believe, categorically that HUMAN CAUSED global warming is a "fact".
1. Scientist that get their funding to prove it.
2. Members of the government that buy votes by funding those in number one above.
3. Those in hollywood and other elitist that chant wonderful ecological "truths" while living any old way they want. Hypocrites in other words.
4. Those that are truly concerned but don't bother to actuallY look at research (particularly non US research) that shows contradictory data.
5. Those that have an agenda to cripple world free markets through over regulation - Socialist and communists in other words.
Do some honest research yourself that is evenly weighted by studies from both sides of the debate and you will find that there is far too much question as to human caused global warming for it to be considered a "fact".
The planet has warmed very slightly. Admitted.
The CAUSE is very much in question and until some real funding indipendent studies are done over an extended period of time with the same results are conducted the jury is still out.

Global Warming exists. There. Big surprise. As a Republican I fully endorse the idea that the Earth has been gradually heating up for the past few hundred years.
Now if only we could do something about that gosh darn sun that is driving it all. We should be pooring millions into sun spot research so we can start to understand the Sun's cycles and ways to prevent it from disturbing the precious ecosystem we have here on Earth.
But not just here. We have Mars to think about. It's polor ice caps are shrinking in size due to the increase in solar output over the past few hundred years.
Oh you thought it was carbon emissions? I didn't realize those Mars rovers had tail pipes.

Republicans acknowledge that it exists, many just don't know how big the problem is or if it is man made or not. There is a lot more science to be talked about. And it doesn't help that the global warming summit was canceled due to snow 3 times this year.
