In my stomach, that is!
I have been sitting in this emergency room for hours now and they won't let me eat anything. They are thinking I might need surgery on my back.
Do you know where there is an exit so I can get out of here?

Run, don't walk to the nearest exit! I was in the hospital a few weeks ago and I thought I was going to starve to death. They act like you're asking for a heart transplant when you want lunch! grrr

It's got to end soon, it just can't last for ever. As soon as they're done with you it's food time. Even if it's a quick vending machine sandwich till you can get something real.

that stinks! they wouldn't even let me eat crackers when i was in labor w/ my daughter for 14 hours! They are savages!
Sneak around and find a vending mach...or call a good friend to sneak you something in.

I do not think it is going to stop anytime soon. If they don't hurry....you may need an IV before you pass out from starvation.
