What is the best word I can use to say that I want to attend a private class and pay for it, reserve, subscrib, book, etc?

I would use either "enroll" or "register".

enroll. Based on the informatio in the question - most people say that they "enrolled" thier child to a private school - or I am "enrolled" in the alcohol rehab program or local chess club.
the word enrolled works better than I participate in this or that - Or I want to participate - and in a written paper has a better sound than attend or subscribe.

You answered your question. The word I would use is Attend. If you pay for the class, that is seperate then attending because your intention is to attend and you are paying in order to attend.

Book seems like the right word to me.
