Kimi. You don't go out and pay the big bucks to bring the guy in as 2nd driver. Of course things can and do change at Ferrari. Mclaren has always run co-equals, Ferrari always has politics and drama. So if Massa wins a couple of races and Kimi blows up watch Massa get the new bits on the car.

At the moment the question is not closed
In fact Massa is a veteran of Ferrari Team, while Raikkonen is the new arrived, so according to this consideration Massa seems to be the first.
But in the last years Massa was the second drive of Shumacher, while Raikkonen was the first drive of McLaren, so Massa can be considered a second class driver while Raikkonen is a top class driver...
For these contrasting considerations at the moment they are considered at the same level, but in the future the points will tell which is the first Ferrari pilot. Ferrari is used to plece the interest of the team into more consideration than the pilot's interest, and the second pilot's role is to help the first winning the championship and the team to win the championship of "builders", so the team will consider the pilot with more points the first....
Altough Raikkonen is arrived recently in Ferrari, I think that he will probably be the first, because in the first race with a Ferrari he was able to dominate the race, this means that being new is not a problem...(Massa did a great race too, he started from the last position and arrived 6th).

Its been repeatedly said by Ferrari that Kimi is not their Number 1 Driver. Its too early in the season to have a preferred driver.
Payment doesnt always ensure Number One position. Kimi's 2006 track record really sucks while Massa was impressive. So they will wait till they see who has the potential to be the champion and start giving the preference. There was a time when Ferrari favored Eddy Irvine while Schumacher had the better salary.

Massa has the top hand, and it will take a huge attempt from Raikonnen to come again on words, not to point on perfect. Ferrari won't favour the two of them till late in the season, yet I anticipate that Raikonnen will end his Ferrari occupation as kind 2 to Massa. The Ferrari is rumoured to be the quickest automobile on the 2nd (i understand BMW have been rapid, besides the shown fact that that's known that they are working a extra 'very final' version of their automobile than all the different communities), and that being the case i could think of that Massa has a great risk of triumphing the identify he would desire to have had final 300 and sixty 5 days. then returned, no person truly is conscious what McLaren are doing. they'd have produced their first absolute canines in a decade or extra, or they may well be engaged on one million/2 tanks each and all of the time...we will not understand for yet another couple of weeks. EDIT @matrix i've got faith that McLaren have an particularly clever concept with reference to the back end of the vehicle which they don't want to teach each and every person till Melbourne, that's why they are nevertheless working their 2008 wing.

Well, I guess it depends.. According to the technical regulations, Massa is in the "number one" car. His car wears the number 5 and also has the red onboard camera housing. If you look closely at Raikkonen's car, you will notice that it has the number 6 (the higher number normally designates the "second car") and a fluorescent yellow onboard camera housing which according to the F1 rules is used to designate the number two car. I was actually quite surprised by this, as I would have thought Ferrari would have made it a point to specify Kimi as the undisputed number one driver in the team as was the policy with Schumacher.

Ferrari said that they will wait till the later part of the season to find the number 1 driver. Once there is a clear leader in the championship, that is what they will set up the T car too. But right now, the drivers are at equal status.
