Downloading from ANYWHERE that allows FREE downloads is illegal. You are not paying for the download, and the artists are not getting paid for the hard work they did in recording the song. It's considered stealing. Check here for an article.

in case you have been to get carry of unfastened song from any peer-to-peer customer like Morpheus, Limewire, or BitTorrent, you would be violating copyright regulation. you possibly won't bypass to reformatory yet on the off risk that the recording marketplace comes to a decision to sue you, you should be on the hook for $150,000 consistent with music downloaded.

Technically no, because the morpheus is a p2p share system. Since the person that is downloading the file isn't paying for it and the person that has the file isn't selling or getting any money outta it then it's legal. It's the same thing as you and your friends swapping cd's or movies.

Yes it is illegal. Plus since it isn't connected with anything like itunes is to apple, the tunes may contain viruses and may ruin your computer and/or ipod. Be careful!
