You first started enlightening the lives of many here on Y!A were you paranoid about asking questions and losing points, at first? I used to think that the points actually translated to something more and was on level two before i started actually asking questions, were you like this?

Yes I must admit that I was and hardly ever asked any questions for fear of losing my precious points. But I started to see how cool it was to have people respond whenever I asked a question. And really it's not a big deal, just pick a best answer and then answer more questions and you get your points back. Have a great day!

No points have never worried me but i found it hard to ask questions at first
I don't ask many now
I think the more levels you go up the less points mean to you

The points and thumbs up/down are really meaningless. I don't ask many questions. If I really need info, I'll " google" . I like to visit Politics and Religion.... because they are swinging it out there on a daily basis. Some of these guys are very intelligent.

On level 1 was just getting to grips with it... I've not asked very many questions as can rarely think of anything interesting to ask!

I was never bothered by points, they don't actually mean anything. If I want to know something, I ask!

Yes I did.But when you pick a best answer you get 3 back,so you only use 2 to ask a question!!

I was just so terrified of thumbs down to my answers. I hated the idea that what I wrote was so abhorrent to anyone else. It must have taken me a whole week to get over this though!
