but he doesnt know that i like him......
i really want to tell him and its confusing cos i dont see him that much at school, only at lunch, and he seems very..... erm....... random, lol
i think that he is gay, and he acts it, but some people keep telling me that he is straight, as he has had a girlfriend for four years, who he has just broke up with....
other people say that hes gay cos of how he acts and how he talks and he is a very "touchy-feely" type person.
so i dunno
i dnt know what to do
i really like him
and i wanna ask him out
but i dnt know how or what to do about it...

i got one of my mates to ask him how he would feel about being asked out by another bloke and he said it might be weird, but he wouldn't hate them or anything...
also, i hav noticed weneva i or sum1 else tlks 2 him about gay people, he is always very quick to mention that he ISNT (or so he says) and i duno what to make of this... is he just covering up or is he actually straight?!!?

im also 15 and go to school.
when your at school most people put up fronts to ethier try to impress or hide the person the truly are.
mabe your friend is really confussed and mabe he is still trying to find his self.
i think you should try and show him thats its okay to be who you are. dont ask him out just yet because you may scare him (not meaning that harsh) just show him that he can talk to you about anything, so then he knows that you can buil a trusting friendship and take it from there.
but try not to jumo to conclusions, mabe he acts the way he is. is because hes shy, or that so many people say his gay that he kinda takes that role on.

If it helps, my best friend in h.s. was gay, was president of the student council, and went steady with the homecoming queen for three years.
Acting gay or straight doesn't make you gay or straight, and mutual friends rarely know what they're talking about.
Ask him out. What have you got to lose?

Maybe you should just ask him to hang out, and get to know him a little better before you lay all your cards out on the table. It is a tricky situation, being a guy in high school wanting to ask out another guy. Safest thing is just to become friends wiht him, if he isn't out, he will need to trust you and consider you a friend before anything else. At least, that is my opinion! Good luck :)

talk a little bit with him (maybe seat with him at lunch) that way you are going to get a better vibe. If after talking to him you feel some kind of chemistry them ask him out, if you don't just move on.

i would try talking to him about regular every-day things and try to get a more accurate feeling about wether or not he is gay. and if you feel confident he is gay, i would be sure to ask him out in private... not at school. he might feel akward being asked out when there are other people around.
try to hang out with him long enough to get his phone number, then ask him out over the phone.
good luck... and if you do get him to go out with you, please dont be stupid and rush into anything... and BE CAREFUL!
