Can i add the EP of The Sims2 without effecting my disk image of the main Sims2 ?

I cloned the sims2 disc to a disk image to play a game without insert the CD. And i afraid of adding the expansion packs.

What i have to do to enable it while using of the same path that being?

I don't think you will be able to use your Sims 2 disk image. I have the Sims 2 and all of the expansion packs. After I install a pack, it wants that EP disk - not the original Sims 2 disk - in the drive to play. So, after installing, I don't think it will be looking for your original Sims 2 disk image - it will be looking for the EP disk.
