What will be the long term effect of her death on the market will it cause a long term decline in the US market?

Absolutely. I have checked the numbers over and over again, and I keep getting the same result: 100% of the days that include a release of Anna Nicole Smith's autopsy report also include a broad market decline. That is too high a correlation to be dismissed as mere coincidence. I think you have discovered a perfect market indicator. I know that I, for one, will take out a huge short position the next time that Anna Nicole Smith dies.

In my opinion, stock market performance is unrelated to the death of Anne Nichole Smith.

The sub-prime mortgage market correction and related exposure of abuses is a much larger factor.

No, the decline in the markets today are in response to very soft existing home sale in america for the previous month.
