This car is in the process of being restored. It's been sitting in for about 14 years since it last ran, and recently I'm having work done to my garage so to make room in the garage I put the car in neutral and pushed it outside. As it rolled forward I was able to jump in and press the emergency brake on and it stopped. Now that the garage work is complete I'm unable to push the car back in even with the parking brake released and in nuetral. Does anyone out there have any idea what might be causing this and have any tips that I could use?

the best place to hammer is on the drum face , not the backing plate , they bend . NEVER put oil on any brake component , there are special lubes for this application .

Find a big hammer.
Slide under the back side of the car and hit the backing plate a few times to rattle the brake shoes loose.

Oh, put something beind the tires so it doesn't roll over you.

I'm going to guess a brake is stuck..
just remove the wheels one at a time and see which one is stuck..
you can back the brakes off, with a screw driver.
by turning the adjuster through the slot in the brake backing plate

could be the brake had rusted &its stuck the spring is not strong enough to release the calippers, jack up one side of the car, removed the wheels, clean the rust reinstall the brakes, put a drop of oil or two at all the moving joints, test the brakes, repeat for the other side, good luck!!

Yeah, those old brakes are most likely froze in position. You need to loosen them somehow. Either by knocking on the backplate with a dead-blow hammer or removing the wheel and knocking on the drums to loosen them.
