You're right-- we no longer have the moral high ground. Iran can now claim the right to torture those sailors as those sailors are from a country that gives aid and comfort to a country that invades sovereign nations, tortures people, and holds them in prisons without access to legal counsel.

Well the liberals would say we torture our prisoners, but their definition is very skewed. Such as: playing loud music.

On the other hand Iran could really torture our prisoners, maybe even be-head them and the liberals will say nothing. Watch the double-standard when it happens. Liberals will always give our enemies the benefit of the doubt, and do everything in their power to help them. It is really incredible when you think about it, but watch it happen.

Not sure

and NO to your second question.

Abu Ghraib was NOTHING compared to what terrorists do! They sure can dish out torturing by beheading, cutting fingers off, breaking arms, cutting off tongues, etc. Now that is torture. It high time people get their head out of the sand and see what the terrorists really do. They are NOT the victims!!!! They are the KILLERS!!! Get that straight.

There is no evidence that America tortures at all. There has been mishandling of prisoners at Abu Ghraib and Guantonomo, but nothing that is torture. There has been no crimes to the hierarchy of the miliitary, it has all been done by low military scum. Iran will pay if they torture the prisoners. You seem to blame America and Iran for nothing, You are wrong.

First of all, other than Abu Gharib there is NO proof that we torture our prisoners. Secondly, if we did, they are enemy combatants picked up during raids and jailed, these were innocent sailors doing routine inspections of a vessel. Also, these are Marines, not guerilla terror cell members, the rules are different.

no we don't. if soldiers go to prison for like 10 years for taking naked pictures of detainees, we're not able to get away with the stuff that mid-east countries are notorious for. and i'm sure that photo sessions are NOT something the Iranians are into. maybe after they behead a couple of them possibly. but, i don't think Iran is that stupid. i hope they are. i mean, i don't wish harm upon the Brit soldiers, but, if they get ruffed up.... it couldn't hurt. it would show what kind of people we're dealing with. maybe a few more people will understand why dont want them 2 be nuclear.

1st off, the British soldiers aren't likely to know anything about potential attacks on civilians, such as beheadings or exploding innocent men, women & children.
2nd, torture as defined by Iran is significantly different then what the US proportedly engages in, (loud music, uncomfortable positions, nothing much worse than our soldiers endure during basic training).
