Spencers is more of a gift shop kind of store where as Hot Topic has clothes and things. I like both stores for their different reasons. I guess I've bought more over the years at Hot Topic though.

I like spencers because they have funny gag gifts but I also like Hot Topic... both but perfer Hot Topic for clothes and Spencers for gifts or toys

Spencer's for the play toys V.S. hot topic for the clothes.... if i had to choose one it would be Spencer's because clothes ware out but a good toy can last a life time. the gag stuff is cool too.

my boys were just introduced to the wonders of Hot Topic. Hot Topic seems to be the lesser of the two evils...more tasteful, I guess.
