Germany was filled with oppressed poor people at the time Hitler rose to power, he jump started the economy and provided jobs for the average German by having them work in factories for the wqar effort, this gave thema job and food. If you had no food or money and your country was ina recession, you would join the army so that you could eat.

Hitler was a dictator of a fascist nation that began a draft. Plus a lot of guys volunteered due to the poor economic situation in Germany.
We don't have either in this nation.

Because in Germany at that time it was the only thing to do the German Economy was in the shambles and oh yes there was a draft to increase the german military.
The US aren't using the draft at this time.

Hitler forced young men into the Army. They had two choices - fight for the country or die. Today we have a voluntary military in the US.

last time i looked.. the Marine Corp and Army had a full rank.. with the exception of a few areas... like NE US and west coastal areas.. in fact CBS had a story of 1 Marine sniper a few nights ago and they said the Marines in most areas had a back log of people...
