im a little of both. my moms love of reading, and my dads love of trucks. i mean im a tomgirl. i got the culinary talent of my dads family, and my moms quiet gentle spirit. i just hope my marriage isnt like theirs or ill be in trouble..LOL

yep, i was so scared of that most of my growing up years. It actually stopped me from having any more children. My parents had 5 that they gave up to the state and I was always afraid "what if I have several kids and then find out Im just like them...?" I had 1 child and always figured I would find a way to care for her no matter what. I would have loved more kids, but that fear kept me from it. Luckily I have matured into a decent person and I am nothing like them.

No way. I refuse to do the same things and make the same mistakes they've made. Once I worried about being like them but I am my own person and do things that are best for me and my family. Already that puts me way ahead of both of them and I'm grateful every day that I am my own person.

I hope I WILL end up like my parents. I love them and respect them (which is something unusual for THIS generation.) I hope I'm as good a parent as they have always been to me.

Yes, I love them both very much but I have had to work hard at not being just like them. They passed along many good qualities that I am proud to have. I'm all about being my own person.

No. That's why I exercise regularly and got a colonoscopy, so I don't end up like my parents.
