It's not like the fuel that kept you sane, alive, and verbose, more like it's a part of you a resolution that coexists peacefully until it's ready to ignite and then and only then it is unleashed upon the betrayer who tried repeatedly to damage and destroy you and who has repeatedly tried to damage and destroy your children, your very reason for continuing. It is quite comforting when the rage that threatened to consume you becomes a friend

My rage and I have been bosom buddies for years!

I don't have that type of rage a lot. I married someone very healthy and kind. No one has tried to harm my children. I surround myself with only positive influences. The result of my making good choices, is that I don't have that drama in my life. At one time, when I was younger, I had that type of rage towards my mother. With unhealthy people the best thing you can do for yourself is detach. And I detached with love, not rage.
