I'm doing an essay how urbanisation affected the Scottish peoples lives between 1880 - 1939 and I need to include quotes from either historians or people who lived at the time but I'm having trouble finding anythin online :-( can anyone help?!

Your best bet is to look in history books - they will be written by experts in the field and this is where you will get quotes and evidence. How long have you got for this essay? I don't have the time to look things up right now, as I'm about to write an essay tonight, but in the next few days I could put together a reading list for you as I'm studying this period right now.
