Dude, sometimes you just have to take that gamble. You could have a thousand people tell you it's good and then you can watch it and think it sucks (which is what happened with me and Lost in Translation), or you can have a thousand people tell you it sucks and then watch it and find out it is one of your favorites (like me with Romy and Michele's High School Reunion...no judgment, please). What I'm saying is, you may just have to bite the bullet on this one and watch it so you can formulate an opinion for yourself about it.

I don't understand why you would get a film at a video store and then say you are afraid to watch it. why bother getting it if you didn't want to watch it. Its not one of Nicolas Cage's best. It is an unusual movie, a different sort. But it is unique and he is good in his roles.

If you like Charlie Kaufman at all (ETernal Sunshine, Being John Malkovich) you will NOT be disappointed. give it a try. Personally, i love the movie.

I've seen it but I can't honestly remember what it was about :(
I guess I didn't like it that much
Although I agree with Mallory, Eternal Sunshine and Being John Malkovich are awesome!

Unlike the others who answered this question so far, I was disappointed by this movie. It was interesting, but I found it to be pretty strange and quite frankly, weird. But you never know, you might like it as much as other people did. :)

You will not be disappointed in it. I found it both refreshing and a way to let people know that being a writer isn't that easy.
