Both sides seem to be defensive. The thing I have noticed is how the Republican/Conservative side seems to avoid talking real issues like the plague. Instead they resort to name calling and accusations. They want to blame Clinton for this or that. They can't seem to deal with the fact that George W. Bush is a failure. Sorry that he is. I had hoped he would be a good president. Unfortunately he will wind up as our contry's worst president.

Ridiculous attacks about ones patriotism and false accusations as to one's beliefs are triggers to the overreaction some exhibit but that was the intent of the asker.
It is sort of like the mean, bratty litte kid that keeps pulling the dog's tail just to hear the dog squeal. Some day the dog will bite them and then it is they who will squeal.

Interesting. I'm more of a centrist myself and really all I ever see on here are liberals posting inflammatory accusations and hateful political rhetoric. Rarely do I see an actual, thoughtful question posted in these forums.

Really, if you honestly think that you're right and you have the facts to back it up, then why not let the facts speak for themselves? If you can provide the documented evidence (from a reliable source) for your claims then people would have a difficult time disputing it. However, when you approach it from the standpoint of launching a personal attack on someone, in the manner of a schoolyard bully who screams "You're a big stupid head because you don't think the same way I do" how can you expect them to do anything other than become angry and defensive?

I liked that first answer. hahaha. can't handle the truth?

oh yea, the News if full of truth. 'specially that Fair and Balanced one.

you know, some people on this planet still insist that the Holocaust never happen. (iran?) funny, my father was forced into serving in the Hitler Youth because the Government told them they were winning the war. (three days before Hitler killed himself) He was brought to the US as a war criminal (13 years old) and was imprisoned for 5 years.

As a liberal, I'm able to sit back and watch the republicans step on their d*ck's. I don't even have to post a question. The daily scandals are offering plenty of material for them to be defensive about though.

Defensive. You liberals can't stand the truth. It's a matter or perspective.
