6.5 out of 10. No, they weren't "clueless" like some papers would have you believe. They bossed the game, had a vast amount of possession and never once looked like conceeding a goal.

But although they kept the ball well, they couldn't create a single clear-cut chance against a well-organised but limited Israel side. That was the worst aspect; none of the England players looked prepared to take risks. Rooney was disappoiting and Johnson was anonymous, and that speaks volumes when both strikers barely get a sniff.

They weren't clueless - they had the vast majority of the possession - but were totally inadequate in front of goal. They had no passion or commitment - hey, anyone who has supported or watched England for very long will know exactly what they were like - it happens so often !

To say they were crap is an under statement. McClaren hasn't got a clue, why play Lennon on the left when he doesn't have a left foot? Why play Phil Neville at all? Why didn't he start Defoe?

England wont beat Croatia, besides the indisputable fact that it wont count number number because the Isreali coach stated he wanted Russia to qualify, and their gk became born in russia.. yet what the hell come on Scotland :)
