I saw it on the magazine on Ferringhi beach there horse ride, water sport, parachute etc etc… I want that hotel name where all those beach activity are held. It be nice and convenience to stay just at that hotel instead of need to travel to another beach side.

i just went to Penang recently and stayed at one of the hotels in Batu Feringghi..i did my survey and the hotels available at the area will be:
- Shangrila Rasa Sayang
-Shangrila Golden Sands
- Holiday Inn
- Parkroyal
- Lone Pine
- Mar vista Resort
- Bayview beach resort
- Feringghi beach hotel
but if i were you..never ever check in at Parkroyal as the room rates are freaking expensive..room were small
( RM550.00 a night!! )..food and drinks are damn expensive too! service was lousy..staff never smiles..except the bellboy and the pool bar staff..the rest was plain awful!! they claim they are 5 stars hotel but in fact i would only give them 2 stars..a complete waste of money and time!!

There are many great hotels along the stretch of the famous Batu Ferringhi. Bayview Beach Resort, Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa, Golden Sands Resort, Lone Pine & more. All these hotels provide excellent water sports activities.

Ferringhi Beach area where you could find water sports activities operated by a few hotels. You can find Rasa Sayang (boutique hotel), Golden Sands, Lone Pine (colonial 2 -story style), Holiday Inn.. hotels and few backpacker hostels or guest houses etc. Ferrigghi Beach has nice restaurants, private water sports companies, cafes, tailors, apartments and bars along it, too.
As for the beach, Penang beaches are not top notch. Most people chose to go to Langkawi for a day or 2 or Pangkor even Terengganu (Perhentian Beach).

1) Holiday Inn (Sea View);
2) Parkroyal Penang;
3) Bayview Beach Resort;
4) Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa;
5) Golden Sands,
6) Lone Pine (would be excellent with the bar facing the beach and less people)
Any of the above will do as they are located along the stretch. I would suggest u forget about the no. 4 and 5 hotel as the room rates are ridiculous.

There are a streatch of hotels along Batu Ferringhi....
I stayed at Golden Sand Beach before. Good hotel.
