Sounds like he doesn't see your friendship in the same light you do. He may have only wanted sex from you and after he didn't get it he gave up. Some guys are just like that, and that is sad. If he's ignoring your messages then that right there just means to back away and move on. There's nothing more you can do about the situation, and as sad as it is to lose a friend....he's not treating you like a friend at the moment so it's his loss. I know you still have feelings for him but somethings weren't ever meant to be and you'll find someone new and better who will treat you like you deserve. Don't waste another second on this guy.

As hard as it is to accept (believe me I know...I have been in your shoes) It sounds like he simply isn't interested in having a friendship with you atm. Some guys are relationship or nothing. Maybe he doesn't know what to say to you and needs time. I'd ease up on sending messages to him and maybe have a mutual friend try to scope out the situation for you.
