YEP> Yesterday in Reading we had our annual half marathon in which about 14,000 people can enter to take part in a half marathon running over 13 miles all over Reading. People start preparing and training hard for it for months in advance! BUT Yesterday morning one or two participants failed to turn up on time because they had stayed in bed too late! Others were seen frantically trying to get to start in time around 10-00am (the start was 10-05) and starting the run a bit late. Nevertheless the Marathon went well and 9,877 finished the course OK.

you aren't from now on dropping an hour of your existence. you receives it back interior the fall at the same time as the clocks go back. I make the present time to be GMT+a million. earlier to international warfare a million (or thereabouts) all of us stuck to Greenwich propose Time (GMT). it really is the 'organic' time for excellent Britain (for eire the 'organic' time could be GMT-a million hour). organic time is the time foundation the position the sunlight is Due South at 12 midday. All British sundials are calibrated to GMT. 'summer time' became presented as a wartime ingredient. pay attention. If accepted ecu Time (CET) is presented that is GMT+2 in summer and GMT=a million in wintry climate. human beings interior the united kingdom who stay north of Watford or West of reading will wade through very darkish mornings in wintry climate (daybreak at 10 am) and it received't get darkish till almost useless night in summer (noisy barbeques from thoughtless neighbours once you attempt to sleep). for sure, Londoners and politicians could love CET yet farmers, notherners and West u . s . human beings will hate it.
