I believe Sourav Ganguly must be the next Indian captain. What do you think? Recently Dada's form is simply superb also.

If he still continues to play for Team India and agrees to shoulder the captain's responsibility again, Saurav Ganguly should be elected the next captain, not only on the strength of his current form and performance but also because of his excellent record as captain of India. Results say that he has been the best captain ever of the Indian cricket team. Some people are simply not captain material. They are best suited to carry out the captain's orders faithfully. Such a player is Rahul Dravid. And Sachin Tendulkar has long left his best behind him. So it must be Saurav.

this has been long overdue but we should take a que from pakistan and get rid of most of the non-performing seniors, be it harbhajan, sachin or gangs. We ought to keep Dravid for some reasons and one of them is for being the mentor and the other is to be the captain. Make Yuvraj and vice captain and let him test the hot waters. Keep the seniors for the test team and in that way everyone would be happy. The one team has to have more fresh bllod. I know you guys would say that yea they were given a chance and they didn't perform, well all the new players knew that they have to perform in every match othewise they would be dropped, well that kinda pressure catches you in the long run.
Off course nothing much is going to change 'cause cricket in India is run by politicians and past performances and emotions are always a hinderance...

I think Yuvraj must be the next Indian team captain. Ganguly may be in good shape but he is not a good captain. He is not the kind of person to encourage other players and bring the team together like one unit. But I think we need someone new now. Someone like Sachin but not Sachin himself.

I dont think there should be any change in the captaincy at this stage. Ganguly, though played in the first 2 matches, failed to rise to the occasion in the match against Sri Lanka as he was out to a reckless shot. He played in a most irresponsible way in that match.

I'm sure the next captain will be Sachin Tendulkar. He is the senior most and should be made captain till the next world cup.

I think Sachin! India's going through a bad period right now, and I think its primarily because the current captain could not get the team together.

yuvraj singh is going to be the next captain. ganguly was asked whether he wants to become captain but he told that sachin is the right option but sachin dont want to become. so yuvraj is going to be the next captain according to new plan.
