Aaliyah sings really well and so does Ciara but I like Ciara better. She's been long enough for me to actually get to know her and her songs.

Ciara has a long way to go before she can be compared to Aaliyah. Ciara focuses on sex first, music second.
But I do think Ciara is a good role model. She's much different in real life than the character she portrays in her music videos. I don't think Ciara will be accepted as an actress the way that Aaliyah was.
Maybe you should learn more about the real Aaliyah. She was taken from us at the peak of her career. Aaliyah was our modern day Aretha Franklin. Ciara just turned 21, but she might not ever surpass Aaliyah.
Choosing a role model based on clothes, songs and videos is what children do. I think 100% Aaliyah is the real, better singer, and Ciara's voice on songs is retouched, like many artists today.
Even if you have a good voice, someone will think they can use a computer to make it better.

Well they are both great singers but i think everyone thinks Ciara is biting off AALiyah since of course she was out first. They both have different things about themselves that everyone loves. There really isnt a best. I prefer Aaliyah though.

Of course everybody is going to say Aaliyah, since she's dead. But I think Ciara is waaay better, she didn't copy Aaliyah's style.

thats a lie sorry to let you know this but aaliyah was out first and cant nobody take her place she will always be the princess of r&b music, ciara is a perpetrator and tries to act like aaliyah 2 much with the baggy jeans and boxers in her video like a boy i dont like her for try'n to be like her Aaliyah is #1and will always be
