I read an article with the above title in the 80's and I have sourced a film available at some universities.

The study concerned a village and a number of girls developed into males at puberty. I think the family all had the same great grandmother.

Is my memory faulty or can anyone tell me where I can source materials.

Thanks

Yes - female to male at puberty in a film starting with that story in Haiti -- also featured (German) Dr. Dorner's study on the sex centre of the brain and how pregnant women under stress (such as wartime Germany) produce homosexual off spring etc. He went on to show how a similar effect in the animal world such as lab mice and cattle. The Fight to be Male -(natural route of the human body is to be female) - I would love to get a copy myself - I saw it as part of 1st yr Psych - York University
