Mineral make up it was first directed to people with scars (like from fire), too sensitive skin or allergic to must ingredients in some products. They were use by plastic surgeons or dermatologists.
Now they are more available to the public and in affordable prices. I am a "Bare Escentuals: Bare Minerals" fan.

I have a question for you: Why an 11 yrs old needs to use make up?
If you are looking to cover some skin problem on this 11yr old, you must consult with a doctor.

I will say NO, young skin is still developing and it tends to be sensitive.

Too young to be wearing makeup but, when she becomes a teen bare mineral is great makeup to start with....I think it is worth the cost because it is good for the skin and contains SPF. Wearing a little lip gloss at this age ok.

Age 11 is a little young to be using makeup because there's nothing to hide but beautiful, young skin!

their skin should look healthy and glowing anyway and the bare minerals are too expensive to waste.

They should learn self esteem first, and not to only value themselves for how they look.
