Are you that insecure about your beliefs that someone else can make you feel bad about them?
And if you do feel bad about them, then you don't understand what liberals are saying. Liberals love their country and have patriotism. However, we are not sheep and don't follow our leaders blindly. We recognize that their is always room for improvement, and we want our country to strive for it.

You can love your country without invading another one. You can show patriotism by not blindly accepting lies by Bush and Cheney like an obedient little sheep. Thomas Jefferson said that it was the duty of a patriot to question a government and bring them to accountability. We do not have that with the Bush administration. Please, by all means, love your country but know well that others love it too. We might not love this president and we dislike the harm he has brought to this country but do NOT question our patriotism. People are dying daily because Bush will not admit he is wrong. We are in that war because he is a bald faced liar.

It's because you're week. Stop listening to Fox News and those morons who say "If you question the governments policy, you are anti-American". Just because it's the US government, doesn't mean it can't do wrong. There is a huge difference for a dis-taste in our current government and being patriotic. How many times must this be addressed? The government is breaking the law and is killing innocent people while they profit from this illegal war. I don't care which country is doing this. If it's wrong, it's wrong. Open your eyes. We love our country. If we didn't love our country you wouldn't hear our voice. We wouldn't care if we weren't patriotic. Why can't Cons understand this? Are you really that dumb?

Liberals want people to not question the leftist philosophy, regardless of the glaring inconsistencies it contains...how they can be outraged at the execution of a vile lunatic murderer, then get on a bus and ride downtown to protest in support of an abortion clinic...
how they claim to stand up for the downtrodden, but support every tax increase that any congressional looney dreams up...
they only show support for those who agree with them, and shout down those who don't, all the while screaming that they are the guardians of free-speech. do you see any conservatives supporting this PC madness?
don't give them any power that they don't have legitimate claim to...they can't make you feel badly, unless you cede that right to them. maybe you should exercise your right to tell them that they're just worng, and that they have the inalienable right to kiss your patriotic ***!

Because they DON'T love this country, but they're spending too much money on helping illegals that they can't save up enough of their OWN money to move to, say, IRAQ?
Your patriotism is GREAT, as long as it doesn't offend someone from a different country, as far as they are concerned.

If one is responsible for one's feelings, others cannot make you feel bad. I feel that patriotism is shared across the political spectrum but that it may be expressed in different ways.
