I need to negotiate with them for my family status instead of single status:

secondly i'm confused as contrary to their commitments, the offered salary is towards lower end.

here are the details:

Single Status
Basic 5,000.00
Area Allow. (15% basic) 750.00
Sub-Total 5,750.00
Accommodation allwnc 2,800.00
Furniture allowance 600.00
Accommodation Subsidy 900.00
Engineering Alignment 1,450.00
Grand Total 11,500.00

Other entitlements:
*Leave: 24 paid days for the first 12 months, and 30 days thereafter.
*Free Air ticket to the point of origin (employee Only)
*Free medical insurance (Employee +family)
*Accident insurance coverage upto $ 150,000.00
*End of Service Indimnity as per UAE. Labour Law

The problem is that the recruiter & HR is forcing me to accept this as it is.

Kindly UAE residents / work Gurus.. I need your advice .. Thnx

Nobody will be able to give you exacat figures on your living expenses. It depends on to many things and your lifestyle in general.

Will your company provide you with housing, transportation, etc?

One bedroom from Dhs 40.000 to Dhs 60.000
Two bedroom from Dhs 70.000 to Dhs 85.000
Three bedroom from Dhs 70.00 to dhs 120.000 and above

Utilities for a 2 bedroom app and 2 persons using shower, washmashine, dryer, tv, stove etc. calculate for water and electricity around Dhs 300 montly.

Food: local food (produced in UAE or GCC states) is cheap. Imported food is kind of expensive because of the weak USD. Costs on food is more or less in your own hands and can vary a lot. It also denpends where you buy what.

In Abu Dhabi healthcare has to be provided for you, your wife and up tp 3 kids by the employer on employer's cost.

Transportation by cab is cheap, but can add up if you have to go a long distance every day. At night you get charged double.

No local or govt. tax. But when you go out for dinner or drinks you have to add 6% tourism tax.

Regarding your wife working as a dentist. Go to:
http://www.moh.gov.ae
and get more information if MOH license is needed.

Hope that this helped a little, but please understand that without knowing any more details (like what kind of app. you want, what kind of food you buy etc) it is not possible to give you a more exact answer.

Housing, furniture allowance, transportaion and healthcare should be provided by NPCC. Also all visa costs for the employee.

Think about to have your marriage certificate confirmed as long as you are still in your home country.

If you have any more questions, feel free to email me.

Take care

This is a good offer; NPCC is a petroleum based company. Go for that. You can enjoy the tax less salary. Moderately AED 4000 is enough for a couple for a reasonable stay in Abu Dhabi.

Your wife can practice in there, she should succeed for the test conducted by the Ministry of Health.

Good luck and welcome to Abu Dhabi.
